First off I bought the Clarion DXZ585USB from another retailer due to them having a refurbished one for cheaper (sorry SE), however the price here on SonicElectronix for the retail version is quite cheap and is much worth it. Very good head unit and I love the fact of being able to just pop in the 8GB High Performance USB and have enough music for me. Both CD/MP3 playback and USB Playback sounds amazing. With the unit having 6v preamp outs, the sound is clear and bass is smooth. The face plate is not motorized which is a plus for me, I have had to many go out in the past. The unit has plenty of options to give you a little thump when needed and would also make a decent comp unit. Overall very impressed with this unit!
BTW - As I mentioned above I bought this unit from another retailer because the cheaper price, but cheaper doesn't always mean better service. I wound up getting my unit around 2 weeks after purchase so yeah, was kinda ticked, however my experiences thus far with SonicElectronix have been good, they get it out, and in your hands, thank you guys for that!
