I chose these to keep within my co-worker's price range. I know that Orion did a great job on their HCCA subs so I thought I'd look into their component and coaxial sets. The specs and reviews made me go for it. I knew anything would be better than her worn out stock set-up. I installed them with no trouble. The tweeters fit almost perfectly in the stock door tweeter holes. The matching rear coaxial set wasn't a difficult install either. I was pleasantly surprised with the overall sound quality and performance. If you want to stay in a lower price range, these may be perfect for you. My co-worker is very pleased.

I put these in the front doors of my co-worker's 01' Dakota. She loves them. I on the other hand didn't like the install features. The mounting cups are on the ugly side, there's no way to mount the cross-overs (lack of screw holes or double sided tape), they do come with a pair of zip-ties, which broke so I had to use my own. The tweeter cups come with a metal ring with teeth to bite into the tweeter cup behind the mounting surface but I had to pound them flat for the teeth to be able to reach the tweeter cups. Apart from these problems the speakers are priced well and get the job done. The overall quality is hard to even consider as entry level but for the price you can't complain.

After i blew the stock bose speakers in my yukon, I needed to buy some new componets for cheap. I ended up with these since the price was right. I was pretty impressed with them for the price that i paid. I was putting about 110rms to each ( ran the same coax's in the rear), and they handled them nicely. I sold them to a friend and hes running them for about 2 years now on a JL 600/4 and they still sound good. Hes actually thinking about ordering another set for the front doors. Overall good product.
