Best Amp for the money

The following review is for a previous version (RT2500D).

I bought this amp on Ebay from Sonic and it has been the best purchase. It just pounds and sub that you hook up to it. Never overheats or shuts down and stays cool to the touch even after hours of use.

It's okay.

This is my unbiased and honest review, coming from someone who has installed systems all their life. I am not being offensive whatsoever, but most reviews on here are from people who have NOT heard the truly good companies such as Kicker, Hifonics, Orion etc. Anyway onto my review.

I picked up this amp because I enjoy testing different subs and amps for fun, I usually wind up selling them pretty quick (this was no exception.)
The biggest pro, and the thing that will attract people the most is the price, this amp is very cheap. However, and to no surprise, this amp is incredibly overrated in terms of power. Any amp that claims to output 1850 watts RMS at 2 ohms that isn't even $200 should spark a bit of skepticism on your part. Anyway, the amp is very easy to install, with the exception of the fact the terminals are made for FOUR GAUGE, not zero as it describes in the description. You will find yourself shaving your prestigious zero gauge down to a very small size to fit in the terminals. The amp does output a very decent amount of power, just not anywhere near what it claims. It is fine for powering a system that is around 1200 rms. The bass isn't extremely clean either, but it is still a very decent amp for the price. You honestly get what you pay for folks, so if you want quality, spend the money on a quality amp. If you're looking for a decent amp, don't want to spend a ton of money, and aren't too picky about clean, crisp sound, this amp might suit you though.

Great amp!

The following review is for a previous version (RT2500D).

I have had this amp in my car now for 7 years! It still hits hard just as it did when I first bought it. It may appear to be cheap but don't be fooled by the looks. This amp doesn't over heat, it doesn't quit, it just keeps pounding my Kicker CVR 15's; all in a tiny housing. It will definitely surprise you. I highly recommend this amp!

Nice Amp

The following review is for a previous version (GT2500D).

I bought this amp a few weeks ago and I am using it to power a Power Acoustik Fubar 15w subwoofer and it does a good job. Very nice sound quality and powers the sub nicely. No dimming headlights when at about 65%. I haven't turned it up past that because it'd be too loud. Good price and a good amp. Remote subwoofer control works very well.

It is a Boss <-- cheap brand and good QUALITY

The following review is for a previous version (RT2500D).

i can bet my money on this website for its trust
they got the right item and fast shipping. This Boss amplifier i bought is powerful and POWER!~~~~
I got Audiobahn AW1206T Sub to hit on from the trunk of my Civic. o man it hits hard and no distortion. I do hear some amps from Boss will overheat and blew out and blah blah blah. But this amp is good quality and in reasonable price.
I love this amp.

this amp kicks

The following review is for a previous version (RT2500D).

i just yesterday got this amp in along with a wiring kit and i hooked it up to my one solo baric and this thing kicks. my sub sounds great with it, and its actually too powerful for my sub so im getting another one and ima run both off the amp but in a nutshell this amp is a great buy and worth much more than the price but is good for the price. i wouldnt recommend anything else from boss because ive heard alot of bad stuff but i would definitly recommend their amps. also it comes with a bass remote and i installed it in my dash so now i can turn the bass up or down without goin to my trunk.
