VMAX series subwoofers, like the VMAX154, has been the most popular, award-winning, series of Cerwin-Vega subwoofers for the last 10 years for many reasons. These vegas are bad ass. They handle good power and make alotta bass. The only problem I have is that you need many mids and hi's to offset all the bass. They are a great buy and provide lots of bang for your buck. These speakers are a great buy if you have the room for a big box.

I'm talking about LOUD!!! I just got one of these and put it in my single Q-Logic Bandpass box, and it sets off car alarms when riding through town. This is just as good as my Rockford Fosgate HX2 I used to have if not better. Highly recommended!

I have two of these in a slightly larger than recommended ported enclosure to get a little more deep bottom end out of them, and they do it very well and sound quality is also great. They also are a well made and visually nice looking sub in my opinion.
