Axxess GMOS-07 Wiring Interface

A must for 2005 equinox

If u want everything to work right u need this harness. It pretty simple and u can adjust the safety chime sound. There is 2 red wires, it doesn't tell you about in the instructions u can use either one, one is for I believe the steering wheel control module I used the outer one for the stereo.

a bit pricey, but apparently you need this when you upgrade your factory head unit. this was very easy to install just plug in and wire up. the wires that dont plug wire straight to the head unit. i believe you are able to change the volume on the door chime which is awesome i highly recommend. value gets 3 stars too expensive for what it actually does.

Fantastic product. Works great in my Chevy Equinox. I have been using it with a JBL in dash dvd. It retains all my factory warning chimes and everything works like factory.

Very cheap quality

This wiring harness looks and feels cheap. Once it was installed, there is a volume control for the 'ding' you hear when you initially start your car, this volume control essentially gives you the option of a loud ding or a very loud ding (loud enough to hear it outside of the car with the windows closed). Not to mention that the ding that Axxess chose is pretty annoying. It did do the job in getting the radio to work alongside the Onstar. You do however lose the ability to use your steering wheel radio controls. To avoid the loud annoying ding, either fasten your seatbelt before you start your car, or turn off the radio.
