Thunderous Output
MTX Audio has taken subwoofer design and bass output to the next level with the introduction of MTX’s new thunder round subwoofers. These subs were designed with one goal, to bring the noise! Updating and upgrading the technology found in past MTX Super and High Performance Subwoofers, the TR Series has all the beef and brawn you need to be the loudest ride on the block. Whether you are looking to hit some sick SPL numbers or you want to roll with your favorite tunes, the Thunder Round subwoofers are up to the task.
The TR55 series subwoofers don't hold anything back and also deliver the heaviest beats. These subs have a glossy black metallic paint on the polypropylene dust cap with a raised MTX Audio gothic logo, stitched surround for durability, stamped basket design, and a rubber magnet boot to enhance the look of the subs when reversed mounted.

For cheap speakers what more can you expect. I have owned a variety of speakers including JL audio and RE audio. The speakers do sound good. I have 2 of them in a ported box. and for the money I couldn't ask for anything more. They also look great. Another thing I do like about them is they do not take a lot of wattage. But still make a lot of sound.

Great sub sound, and a very good price. 300RMS makes for tight hard hitting bass. I think MTX is brand you can trust. Mine is in a .74 cub ft. sealed box, down firing, with a rockford 400.2 amp powering it. thank you Sonic Electronix.
