Big Bass on a Budget
When it comes to superior bass without a hefty price, the Hifonics HFi subwoofers take the lead. Hifonics has developed this great looking subwoofer specifically as an entry level subwoofer, however they integrate many of the technologies found in their high end subs. Sturdy spring loaded terminals ensure a secure connection that will not come loose. The high-energy magnet is surrounded by a anti-resonant rubber boot cover. A cooling system surrounds the multiple layer, high temperature voice coil to assist in keeping the voice coil cool. These incredible starter subwoofers are designed for enhanced thermal dissipation, more power handling, long excursion capability and highly optimized motor/suspension system that ensures clean, articulate bass reproduction with impressive low frequency extension. For the biggest bass on a budget, look to the Hifonics HFi series subwoofers!

OK I GOT A PAIR OF THESE ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO...ONLY BECAUSE I KNEW A COUPLE PEOPLE WHO HAD THEM AND THEY SOUNDED OK..BUT I KNEW I COULD MAKE THEM SOUND ALOT BETTER...SOO...I MADE A CUSTOM BOX FOR THESE THATS 3.4 CUBIC FEET TUNED TO 37 HERTZ..MAN WOW THAT IS THE KILLER BOX FOR THESE.. I HAVE THEM ON A CRUNCH 1500.1 THAT POWERS THEM EASILY...AND THESE CHEAP LITTLE SUBS ARE KILLING MY 1994 HONDA CIVIC HATCHBAK..THEY WERE IFFY AT FIRST BUT WHEN THEY GET BROKE IN..MUCH MUCH BETTER..
PROS..AWESOME QUALITY FOR THE PRICE..WELL BUILT..
CONS..LITTLE SPRING STYLE TERMINALS..ONLY ACCEPT LIKE LITTLE REMOTE SIZED WIRE..AND DECENT ON THE LOW END EXTENSION NOTES..LIKE 40 CYCLES AND BELOW..\
BUT A VERY VERY GOOD SUB..WONT WIN ANY SPL CONTESTS..BUT AWESOME FOR THOSE WHO WANNA ADD A LITTLE DEPTH OR GO FOR PURE SOUND QUALITY..MINE SOUND EXCELLENT!!!!

The baffle on my Pioneer sub blew and instead of getting it repaired I simply replaced the speaker with this unit. The enclosure specs were 'close' enough for my liking.
What a difference!!! The Pioneer never sounded this good! I can now shake the light fixtures 2 floors up!
Very good - solid - speaker! The quality of the speaker boot material feels about 20 times stronger than my original Pioneer's stupid felt boot. Looking forward to many years of performance from this speaker.
