Dynamat DynaLiner High Performance Insulation KitDynaliner is a polyether, urethane-based, thermo- acoustic foam made to be used in conjunction with Dynamat sound deadening material. Dynaliner material can withstand temperature ranges between -40° - +225°. It is made with a combination of open and closed cells to accept and dissipate sound waves. The acoustic foam in Dynaliner is cast in sheets for consistent levels throughout the foam, to assure maximum sound absorption.
DynaLiner Applications
DynaLiner is typically used on top of Dynamat to provide high acoustic absorption and excellent thermal insulation. It is not affected by oil and does not absorb water. This kit contains one 1/2" thick 32" x 54" self adhesive sheet and is perfect for the roof, firewall, floor, quarter panels, doors and more.
Easy Installation
Use scissors, knife or die to cut Dynamat Dynaliner to the desired size and shape before removing the release liner. Next, remove dust, grease, moisture, and other foreign matter from the application surface. Now it’s time to peel off the release liner and start applying. The easiest way to apply is to bend the mat slightly and attach it along its shortest edge and pressing it firmly into place.

Dynamat 11103 is a great product and works quite well even though I'm not using it for it's intended purpose. i've installed Dynamat in the cockpit floor area of an all aluminum experimental aircraft to reduce vibration and provide some insulation from cold in the winter. The product is working well with the exception of wear. I don't believe it was intended to wear and as such I've had to add .032 aluninmu skid plates to protect it from the heels of the pilot and co-pilot's shoes. When working the rudders pedals Dynamat was beginning to tear. That solution has solved the wear problem, now if i could just dress up the surface a bit it would be great.
