MTX has done it again. Building on the strength and popularity of MTX's TC enclosures, the loudest boxes on the block, the new JackHammer series enclosures leave no doubt as to who the enclosure king is. A refined look and redefined attitude that features a flat black finish in JH45 series enclosures or a gloss black finish in JH55 series enclosures and with MTX's famous side-firing super slot port, these enclosures produce epic amounts of bass and put all competitors to shame. Classic MTX quality goes into the production of every JackHammer enclosure including extra strength 3/4" MDF panels and dado/v-groove construction giving JackHammer enclosures the ability to bring the pain 24/7.

I recently purchases this sub enclosure and an MTX 600XD amp from sonic electronix and all I can say is WOW!! These things hit the lows so hard, it's amazing! I have the gain set to only about 1/2 and the subwoofer control on the head unit to +3 on -15/+15 range. IF there was any drawback to this box, it would be the size of it. I knew going in that is was huge so I was prepared. Also my last box took up most of the small trunk I have anyway so I was used to it. The subs are rated at 1600W peak, and the 600XD amp's birth sheet said it put out 1397W peak @2 ohms at 14.4v and these subs take every bit off it and beg for more.
