great buy

this is a great amp! I had one of these on two spl 15's , blew them. so I got three 15's and they sound great. Then I wanted to go bigger so I bought a solo x 18 and was not sure what I was going to push it with and my friend told me that my ol5kd would push it I was kind of worried but to my surprise it did hit hard but not as hard as I would liked it to so I bought another. man it hits so hard and I have the noise violation tickets to show for it.

this amp does not give you what they claim, it pushes out max about 1500 rms however you can play it for like four straight hours without this overheating

i wish i WOULD buy another one

Mannn.... ieght check it, i bought this mug like a year ago, i was tryin to push a powerbass 12 i think it was like 400rms or somethin dual 4 ohm. all i could hear was distortion. BOSS SUCKS the power is very overrated. i bet i can get more power to that sub if i hooked it up to just the cd player. seriously.

BUT, one thing I like about this amp that not alot of people know is, it will take a 1/2 ohm load. yep i said it. and to be honest it actually does pretty good and dosent get too hott. i mean even if it does burn up, u havent lost much. if ur lookin to hook up 2 dual 2 ohm subs in parellel, id recommend it.

but to sum it all up this amp aint nuthin to write home about.

good amp for the money

There are downfalls to buying a lower brand name amp but I do have to admit it pushes my 2 Pioneer Premier 12's when they are 3000 watts a piece. Trust me its loud too. The cons would definately be the fan but I can hear that with the sytem anyway and that you cant fit a 0 gauge wire in the ground or the power spots on the amp

2 EVERY 1 TALKN *** ABOUT THIS AMP-YOU JUST DONT KNOW ****?

I've been a installer 4 16-years. I suggest getting this amp If u can'T afford a common named branned. My friend smoked a 3000 watt mtx elite amp due 2 power surge & purchased this amp until his mtx got repaired! He has 2-mtx 9500's that were running off that 3000 watt mtx elite amp & a 5000 watt rockford comp capacitor & a 210 amp stinger altanator. Now we got this amp & it runs just as good if not beter oh ya & the guy that said **** about the fuses it depends on the circuit board that why it has tha amp set up just like the mtx 3000 watt elite amp !! So buy amp great deal no joke!! Laterz.

dont buy this

if anyone thinks this can give out 5000 watts they are idiots...it only has 6 gauge power and ground inputs...4 30 amp fuses...i bought it thinking i would get like 2000 out of it...hasnt even broken 1000...it really sucks...other than the power it works fine...the fans on it are annoying and they take in a bunch of dust so u have to wipe it off the grill every couple hours or else u can hear it sucking in air inside the car...i have an intrepid without a flip down seat and i can still hear it dont buy unless u only need less than 1000 watts boss sucks lol
