Is your factory stereo just not working up to par? Don't want to spend to much money on a new in-dash stereo? Then this might be the unit for you. The Sony Xplod CDX-GT130 is a low cost alternative to your factory stereo. It does not have all the fancy features of higher end models, but this unit sure gets the job done.

Bought this on Sonic. Easy to install, sound is much more powerful and clear than the stock POS Nissan unit it replaced in a 2000 Altima.
Pros:
Basic and cheap, powerful sound, simple to install, front Aux, good looking display.
Cons:
Unit display has no auto dimmer feature (man only), can't play WMA/MP3 disks, Sony instructions do not include wiring setup.
The Sony CDX-GT130 is a great unit. It's last years model, Sony has since replaced it with a more capable and featured model costing a bit more $$.

This is a pretty good value for what you're getting, but what you're getting is pretty simple. It's not the best sound reproduction, it doesn't have the most features, it's not the best look and design, and it's not the best power. But it's pretty good and does definately improve the sound. You would definately not be dissappointed if you get this, but if you have more money to burn, go with something else. I'm not bashing, just telling the truth. I love Sony, but this is what it is, a cheaper reciever. If you just want better sound and you only listen with normal cd's, or just an ipod through an aux. cable, then definately get this if you don't want to spend that much money.

Excellent service...great price...easy installation...what else can I say?
Item shipped hella fast, answered questions with speed, and their product is described with perfect detail. The item I ordered was packaged for shipment with obvious concern for the customer's happiness as well as the product's safe delivery. That shows their level of commitment to the customer!
