Customization with Boston Acoustics G3 Subwoofers
Boston Acoustics' G3 series subwoofers provide deep, crisp, responsive, and quality bass that has come to be expected from a high-end company like Boston Acoustics at an affordable price. Featuring Soft Part System (SPS™) technology that will allow the removal of soft parts in case of an impedance change when adding more subs, repair if the voice coil fails and is damaged, and it also allows for customization by allowing the basket and back screen to be removed from the motor structure. This will then allow the option to paint, chrome, or even powder coat to make your subwoofer really stand out. G3 series subwoofer also feature SureSet™ impedance selection that makes wiring easy and accurate as well as adds protection from overdrive to the voice-coil, and a RadialVent® cooling system that decreases heat dissipation as well as distortion cause by thermal discharge. This improves the subwoofer's ability to perform at higher power handling levels while still producing quality bass output. Bought a g310 boston acoustic subwoofer a year ago and never was quite satisfied. Its in a 0.5 cu ft sealed box. Its rated at 375 watts rms its connected to Arc audio amp at 600watts into 2 ohms. Installed a gtr radiator and tuned it to 35 hertz and WOW! what a difference. I think this is a must once you're using extremely small enclosures. Boston acoustic builds quality stuff, they are great.

Awesome sub... Installed in kia optima 2011 in a 0.749 cubic ft angled single sealed box (Metra S110SE)with a very tight fit but worked. Powered by a alpine MRP-M500 500 watts at 2ohms. I cant believe the sound clarity and thump from jazz to trance to rap out of such a small sealed box. I had dual 12's in a ported 4 ft box back in the day with a 1200 watt amp. I have many friends with aftermarket stereos and all cant believe the quality and loudness it can handle for the size. Boston makes a great sub and soft parts system is cool, switching ohms on the fly!

I got it hooked up to a Fosgate P500w-2 amp and this sub sounds amazing. I can't believe how much bass I get from 1 ,10inch sub, Ridiculous. I previously owned 2 Audiobahn and Kicker subs and this Boston by itself is louder, clearer and much better than the other 2 combined.

Boston makes some great products and I matched this up with their monoblock amplifier the GT400 both sounded great together. The subwoofer is fuse protected.
