Distribution Block Specifications

Distribution Block Type
This specifies what the intended use of the distribution block is. Fused distribution blocks are intended to be used with the power wire and the fuse acts as a short-circuit or surge protection so your amplifier is not as likely to be damaged. Non-fused distribution blocks can used with ground or power wire connections, but the protection on power wire connections will not be present as there is no fuse in the distribution block. Therefore, we recommend your amplifier has an external fuse for short-circuit or surge protection. When using either type of distribution block, it is recommended to use a main fuse holder within 18 inches of the battery.
Non-fused
Total Number of Inputs
This is the total number of input connections that go into the unit.
1
Maximum Input Gauge Size
This is the largest gauge wire that will fit into the power and ground terminals of this device. The lower the gauge number, the thicker the wire is. For example, a 4 gauge wire is thicker than an 8 gauge wire and thus has higher current carrying capacity. Always do your best to get this size wire to reduce the risk of damage to your components.
Any Gauge with use of Ring Terminal AWG
Total Number of Outputs
This is the total number of output connections that the unit will produce.
3
Maximum Output Gauge Size

THIS IS ONE HELL OF AN ACCESSARY, IT ALLOWS YOU TO CONFIGURE YOUR POWER AND GROUND INSTALLATION, TO HANDLE UP TO SIX 0AWG WIRES. IT WORKS WELL IN MY INSTALLATION AND TRUST ME I HAVE SOME 0 AWG INSTALLED. YOU WOULDN'T FIND A BETTER DISTRIBUTION BLOCK ANYWHERE THAN CAN DO WHAT THIS CAN DO. THE DESIGN IS FANTASTIC.

Doing my install under the back seat of a 13' Honda Ridgeline with for amps I had basically zero space available for an elaborate power distribution system, I chose the dbx30 due to its vey compact design. The connections were all very strong. I haven't had any issues at all.

To be able to have multiple amps running
Dominiqu R on Oct 31, 2014
I will have 3 amps in my car. I have one 2 channel amp (2 x 75) for my front component speakers. One 2 channel amp (2 x 75) for my rear speakers. One 2 channel amp bridged (1 x 360) for my subwoofer. Will a distribution block using a 4 gauge power input, two 8 gauge output cables for my two speaker amplifiers, and one 4 gauge output cable for my subwoofer amplifier work? If so what size fuses and what location do I need them?
