The first thing you notice when you remove them from the box is the amazing weight. They're much heavier than any 6X9 I've handled before. I installed these to match my 6 1/2" VR components up front and I was blown away. These are nothing short of amazing. Well worth the pain of figuring out how to mount 6X9's in a space designed for 6 1/2's. They produce subwoofer like lows, and are amazingly clear, even with just a high powered head unit. A perfect combination with the smaller components up front, and all but do away with the need for my JL 10" sub. Thanks JL! Oh, 3 for durability because the screens came loose and had to be glued.

I installed a pair of these in the rear of my 1994 Dodge Stealth. I had to space them out 1/8” because the magnets are huge they interfered. It sounded great with the stock radio and even better after I added a Boss GT980 amp.
