to be honest this isn't the worse head unit ever. but i would not recommend this to anybody.
ok so i got this mid june 2009 and its now oct 3rd 2009 and i wish i never bought it. theres 4 screws that hold the plate that the faceplate connect to. and 2 of the screws have become VERY loose. there phillips heads no problem right. well i cant get a screw driver to a frame a metal that bends over it. so ill have to take that off and tighten. my next issue is that sometimes (becoming worse) the lcd wont turn on period. but ill still have sound. so i have to shut the head unit off, and take off the face plate and put back on for the lcd to come back on.
and every so often it will make a slight high pitch noise. it comes from the head unit not the speakers so i dont think its the ground. its almost like the lens of the cd player is scratching a disk. but the problem is that i dont have a cd in it and im using the radio.
i didnt install it, was professionally done, due to ive never installed a head unit like this. in my old Chrysler cirrus i installed the Dual XDMA7715 with no problem.
to be honest. i should of went with my gut that a pyle is a pyle of sh*t
