I have 4 15" Volfenhag subwoofers and i am very impressed with them. I install Car Audio on my spare time at a local tunes store. I sell alot of CVRs but none of them hit as hard as these Volfenhags. I have them set up with a 4000 watt Treo amp. No distortion what so ever. I have them in a 2000 isuzu rodeo and i keep blowing the back wind shield out.

I was hesitant to purchase this brand of speakers since I heard a lot of good and bad things about them. But, I ended up getting one 15 and put it in a 3 cu ft sealed box pushing it with a Volfenhag 2000watt 2 ch amp. I have it bridged and wires to 8ohms and it thumps very nicely. For $70 for the speaker alone. It sounds great for what I wanted and it looks awesome.

I owned 4 of these 15's installed in a 96 ford probe. they were in a custom box which gave each sub just over 2 cf per sub hooked upto a 2200w audiobahn amp and they rattled my hatch like crazy. not sure what db's i was hitting. the only problem i had was the cone on a couple i had seperated so i exchanged them for new ones, then i decided to hook them up at 8 ohms instead of 4 and didn't have hardly any problems after that. i had one seperate after that so instead of sending it back i decided to glue it back together with gorilla glue and boy did that make that speaker pound harder then new or even two of my other subs. overall recommend for low cost system.
