Absolutely everything I wanted in an amp, plus a power rating that is very conservative. It is small, powerful, clean as crystal, has the right adjustments, and is very robust. You can use the front two channels to push all the speakers you want, and bridge the back two for a really conservative 300x1 @ 4ohm. I swear this back two channels bridged has driven my 2 4ohm jls (2ohm load) as well as my Kappa monoblock (rated 500rms at 4ohm). When set up in the livingroom against other considerations for my mids and highs, going from my other amps to the Infinity showed just full and musical the Infinity amp is compared to some lesser brands. Best I have owned, and it is not the most expensive I have owned.

I use this to power my Infinity Kappa series 6.5's & 6X9's.
And it does an incredible job of it.
Small size, big power, sleek design, Infinity is the only way to go
for your mids and highs.

I bought this amp around 2 months ago from Sonic for $309.00 and it got quite hot but never shut off. I will say that I had it lying on the carpet in my trunk and carpet does not dissipate heat at all. The bottom of the amp is heavy thick metal more so than any amp I have seen. So the bottom acts as a heat sink as well it seems. I wound up mounting it (vertical) with 1.5 inch stand-offs from the carpet on my sub box and installed a squirrel cage fan (65CFM) from Sonic and she now runs warm to the touch. I did not rate this amp until I felt comfortable with the fact that it can measure up and not shut down when pushed. I have had a few other amps in this vehicle and they would shut down. My system consist of 2 10” Polk Momo subs powered by a MTX JH600 amp. I installed Infinity Kappa 6.5 components in the front doors and Infinity Kappa 6X9 coaxial in the rear. My head unit is a Pioneer DVD 3200. I also installed a 1 fared cap as well. All power and ground leads are four gauge. The total watts are just shy or 1300rms. I recently went on a 7 hour trip and ran the volume at moderate to high levels and I must say that this amp kicks butt! I cannot say how happy I am with it. I like my music loud and clear and this amp does both effortlessly. I cannot even turn it up too much because I am afraid that it will damage my ears! The highs are unbelievable as well as the midrange and bass. I have to set the EQ highs on the head unit to neutral. I will say as another reviewer stated that you better outfit this amp with high quality speakers otherwise you are wasting your money. You should always put more money in speakers than the amp anyway this is my belief. The setup instructions are clear and to the point. It is also nice having the controls on top of the amp. It has a small footprint, but is quite heavy considering this fact. When and if this amp dies, there is only one other brand that I would consider and that is Rockford Fosgate or another Infinity amp. I hope she goes the distance because I love it! I promise that if you buy this amp you will not be disappointed!
