Customization with Boston Acoustics G3 Subwoofers
Boston Acoustics' G3 series subwoofers provide deep, crisp, responsive, and quality bass that has come to be expected from a high-end company like Boston Acoustics at an affordable price. Featuring Soft Part System (SPS™) technology that will allow the removal of soft parts in case of an impedance change when adding more subs, repair if the voice coil fails and is damaged, and it also allows for customization by allowing the basket and back screen to be removed from the motor structure. This will then allow the option to paint, chrome, or even powder coat to make your subwoofer really stand out. G3 series subwoofer also feature SureSet™ impedance selection that makes wiring easy and accurate as well as adds protection from overdrive to the voice-coil, and a RadialVent® cooling system that decreases heat dissipation as well as distortion cause by thermal discharge. I have the single 4 ohm model bridged off a Rockford P400 and it sounds amazing!!!!!! I did have a sealed 1 cu ft box but then I built a ported 2 cu ft box tuned 35 hz and oh my god its awesome...raw clean power, it shakes my whole truck and any one elses vehicles around me...I have been flipped off a lot at stop lights lol this sub is very underated. Its a sad thing that not too many ppl know of Boston Acoustics cuz they really do make quality products. This sub is a beast. LOTS of excursion. The fact that I can take it apart and replace the sps is very cool. Also the fuses are a very smart idea cuz they protect the sub. I would highly recomend this or anything boston acoustics to anyone

I have owned the Boston Acoustics G312-44 for 6 months now. I tried several other subs including Orion, JBL, Polk and just couldn't get the sound that I was happy with. If you like tight, clean, and powerful base then you can't beat the Boston subs. They have the sound of a much more expensive sub and they sound AWESOME!!!!! I have been a drummer for 30 yrs and have a very strong need for clean and clear music so I could hear all the instruments. The sub gives you the depth and drama of the song, so it is a very important part of the musical experience. Boston subs will give you the depth and drama without destroying your bank account.
