This is a very nice amp, however it does not have a built in bass boost or boost frequency knob. Without those two knobs, your bass is basically lifeless. in order to get them, you must purchase the optional remote control bass unit. Sadly, i cannot recommend this amp to those that are not purchasing the remote. Music that is bass heavy like rap absolutely requires a bass boost to get the most out of your subs! 3 stars without remote boost, 4 stars with it.

Kenwood is not what it use to be. I purchased the Kenwood X1200M amplifier, it has been installed for four months, not very impressed, a few good song came on and I turned up the volume to like 21, for about 10 minutes and the amp stop working, went into protection mode, only way to reset the amp is to send it back to Kenwood. Kenwood will fixmor replace. Standing by for further notice. Sonic Electronix is great, it's Kenwood wiu poor quality products, sorry but it's my experience.

I've owned this amp for a few months now. Bought to replace my blown Audiobahn amp and I must say the sound has improved. My subs are more accurate and bass seems tighter. the only problem I have with it is that its kinda hard to install. Can't really complain about it's performance though

I had this amp installed about 8 mounths ago running 2 jl 12" w6s and let me tell you they slap hard. The amp is a perfect match for JL Audio the only complaint is that it draws a lot of power to run it, I would recommend upgrading to a second car audio battery to.
Now to get the matching 600f amp to run my components.

This amp is ridiculous...I stumbled upon it at the store and found that someone had ordered it from the stores webpage but never used it...since the specs were much better then anything else the store offered normally I bought it and set it up with 2 of my 4 JVC arsenal subs.... immediately i noticed the difference...the amp ran cool and pushed my subs to the limit and made the system sound 10x better...i can set off an entire parking lot of alarms with one bass drop...when i went on vacation i ordered another one of these to hook to my 3 kenwoods in a sealed box...i prev had one amp at 400rms to each sub and when i ran them in series to this single amp again the difference was drastic...you can feel the base through out the vehicle and even the odometer jumps around a bit when im driving and the amp still runs cool with no hic ups whatsoever...for the price id def. recommend this product...there is nothing on the market that will meet or beat its performance...
