Once you get through the steps of taking the radio out, installation was next to nothing. As far as performance, this does everything I hoped that it would and more. I was happy to find out that it charges your ipod as well! Plus, the price you get at Sonic is the best price around!

My teenage son and I installed the ipod connector to his 2007 Pontiac G6 GT. It took us about 1-1/2 hr. Most of the work involved removing and putting the dash back. The instructions were clear and It worked like a charm when we reconnected the power. We recommend this unit. The ipod can be controlled through the radio with the song names shown, or through the ipod using the aux band on the radio.
Using radio control, it can take a lot of scrolling to get to the song you want to hear, but it may be safer than trying to use the ipod wheel while you drive.
The unit is a little pricey, but not too bad, hence the slightly reduced rating,
