I bought this amp a few months ago and up till now it was working great, that is until i moved down to Florida. The amp tends to turn of if played at 3/4 volume. I played it at full volume in New York and never had a problem. I touched the amp and you can cook an egg on top of it. "let me remind you it comes with a built in fan and i have 2 other fans blowing air in it and the thing still goes into protect mode. I was thinking of buying another one of these but instead i will put this amp to power my tweeters. My hifonics never give me any problems, Amp is great for tweeters and that is it. "I've been doing car stereos since 1990-21 years and i have done my math correctly.
