I purchased this to replace an AM/FM stereo receiver that crashed after 28 years of service. This unit works fine on FM ,even with weak signals. Multi-path is still a problem, but that is not the fault of the receiver. I especially like the remote control feature. The "bonus" is a fairly sensitive and selective AM receiver; surprisingly this is a good AM "DX" receiver using the loop antenna provided with the set. While somewhat "boxy" in appearance, the receiver is well ventilated and remains cool to the touch after many hours of continuous use. All in all, I'm satisfied with this unit. As to durability, we'll see.
