Preloaded 10" box hits very respectably. This amp provides enough power to reach the limits of the sub. Also, I've had no problems with heat, sound quality, etc. This combo puts out enough bass to drain my headlight beam sometimes. So a 1 farad capacitor is worth considering, though not necessary.
