Got this from W****** was %50 off so not a bad deal at all. Had it installed in my 95 Monte Carlo with a W****** 8 gauge wiring kit. I've built alot of comp systems and was pretty impressed by this little sub. I had never once thought about an 8, usually 12's or 15's with me. But for the price and size not bad at all.

Installed this with a 12 gauge kit in my 2005 Chevy aveo and it sounds great! It gives you loud deep boomy bass inside the car but don't expect it to rattle every nut and bolt loose in your car. For the price it left a smile on my face and I've always had 1000 dollar systems in my car

I have an old ZJ-series Jeep Grand Cherokee, and it has the Infinity Premium Sound System. I installed a Dual head unit (XHD6420). I thought that alone was plenty of bass and quality. For only 8 inches and 160 watts, this thing hits hard. I compared it to a 12 inch ported Rockford Fosgate subwoofer at 500 watts (from an electronics store), and this little guy hits harder. You will be surprised how much it can thump. As far as durability goes, I have only had it in for about a week so I don't know. It has been bumped and thrown around, though, and still sounds great. Unlike many subwoofers, this one doesn't need to "break in." It just hits hard right when you install it. I had a rough time installing it myself, so I recommend going to U*******E********** or B***B** to get it installed professionally (it is only $70.00). They do a great job. CONCLUSION: This subwoofer is really great. It won't blow the windows out, but it will shake the rear-view mirror and vibrate the seats. Excellent quality, looks great, and sounds and FEELS awesome, too. Wonderful value!

I just put one of these in my 2000 gmc jimmy and it by far exceeded my expectations. i wasn't expecting much from just an eight inch sub but everyone thinks it hits like a twelve. people are surprised when big sound comes from this lil' sub.
