Flexible Tweeter Mounting

Every car audio installation is different, but that doesn't mean the sound quality in your car has to suffer. With the convenient convertible tweeter mounting system with the XS speakers, you can be sure you are going to get the best sound possible. The tweeter can be installed separately from the mid-bass like a traditional component set, or the tweeter can be mounted on top of the mid-bass for a coaxial configuration. No matter how you choose to install it, you will experience the full potential of these speakers.

Can't complain about a thing..

I'm running these in my front doors powerd at 150w rms per channel. Speakers are very detailed and clear. Build is very high quality. Tweeters are a little hot. With them mounted on my a-pillars I have them attenuated per their recomendations. Best componets in this price range that I've used.

Amazing SQ for the Price

I have this comp set pushed by a JL HD900-5 amp and controlled by MS8 sound processor. For this pricepoint, you cannot beat the sound quality this set delivers. Hands down, end of story, if you didn't get these, you wasted money on a more expensive set or you missed a heck of a deal. I actually ordered an extra set of 6.5 drivers in case something happens to these! The tweeters are huge so a big mounting hole is required but worth it. They are so crystal clear and smooth, the exact sound for my highs I was looking for. I replaced a set of Focal's with these as the Focal's were a bit harsh for me.

They are ok, just not the set for me.

I purchased this set purely on word of mouth as the reviews are stellar for only $180. I bought the 5x7 version, but the review will be just as relevant for the 6.5". After installing them and letting them break in. I'm less than impressed. Let me start by saying I'm an audiophile not a basshead, but come on image dynamics give me just a bit more on the mids! They play fine down to 80hz but are more comfortable at 100hz. I wish they could dig a bit deeper but that's what subs are for. I feel the mid range is excellent. Also the tweeters are luxurious sounding. Some of the best. They are smooth, and get loud with little fatigue. I have mine off axis in my A pillars and I am honestly impressed with them.

If you are looking for midbass monsters that can go sub less, these aren't it, however of you want a fair amount of midbass, excellent midrange and fantastic tweeters this is your set.

In summary I'll say had I paid full $599.99 I would be highly disappointed, but for the price i paid. I can't complain. I am returning this set and going another direction. Still haven't decided on jl audio or morel. Not a bad product, but audio is very subjective this may be the best set for you, but It's just not for me.

great set for the price

These speakers have not disappointed. They perform well above their cost. They put out high sq and can handle almost double their power ratings. Very pleased.
