When I dished out the cash for these subs I thought I was getting some earth shaking monsters...little did I know you also had to have an amp big enough to push them, my little HIFONICS 1500 mono amp did not even touch these...either the amp sucks or the subs suck major power...the impressive thing though was while pumping the bass out I was able to rattle the rear view mirror off and it fell right on the floor. If these are in your future...be prepaired to lay fat cash down on amps, batteries, and a few mirrors !!! but then who cares when laying down big cash for a sub.

I bought one of these off of a local dealer, And I couldn't be more satisfied with these things. I am pushing it with a Soundstream XXX 6500D I would recommend these to someone who doesn't want a trunk full of speakers, and amps. Just needed an extra battery for the amp. But if your just getting into this type of thing have a shop do it for you.

the proper box for this woofer takes up way more room than a trunk full of speakers....it yours doesn't then get the box specs and build one because i promise you it will sound 3 times louder.
