Loudspeaker Specifications

Type
This is the type of professional loudspeaker. Active loudspeakers have a built-in amplifier to power the speakers. Passive loudspeakers require an external amplifier to be properly powered.
High Frequency Driver Size
This is the size of the high frequency driver. Common sizes include 1", 1-1/2" and 2".
Low Frequency Driver Size
This is the size of the low frequency driver. Common sizes include 10", 12", and 15".
Frequency Response
The range of frequencies the speaker will reproduce (lowest frequency to the highest). Bigger is better, meaning the wider the range, the better. The optimal range is 20 - 20,000 Hz (which is the range of human hearing).
100 - 17,500 Hz
Sensitivity
An efficiency or sensitivity rating tells you how effectively a speaker converts power into sound. The higher the number, the more efficient the speaker and the louder it will play with the same input power. An efficient speaker helps you maximize your available power. Most sensitivity ratings measure the speaker's output with 1 watt of input, 1 meter from the speaker. Some speakers' sensitivity is measured with 2.83 volts of input, instead of 1 watt.

Efficiency (1w/1m) is not an accurate indicator of a subwoofer's output capability and should not be used as a comparison to other speakers or subwoofers to determine which one is "louder".
90 dB
Maximum Sound Pressure Level SPL
This is the maximum Sound Pressure Level (SPL) of the professional loudspeaker. The higher the SPL rating, the louder the monitors are able to go.
Dispersion
This is the horizontal and vertical audio dispersion of the professional loudspeaker. The dispersion is measured in degrees.

Active Power Specifications

Peak Power Rating
This is the peak power output that the active loudspeakers is rated at.
Continuous Power Rating
This is the continuous power output that the active loudspeakers is rated at.
Amplifier Class
This is the class of amplifier inside the active loudspeaker.
Amplifier Controls
These are the different types of controls, adjustments, and dials that are on the active loudspeaker.
Built-in Equalizer
If the active loudspeaker has an internal equalizer it will be identified here.

Passive Power Specifications

Peak Power Handling
This is the maximum amount of power (measured in watts) that the speaker is designed to receive.
Program Power Handling
This is the amount of program power (measured in watts) that the speaker is designed to receive.
Continuous Power Handling
This is the amount of power (measured in watts) that the speaker is designed to receive continuously.
Nominal Impedance
This is the nominal input impedance of the passive loudspeaker.

Physical Features

Inputs
These are the types of input connections that connect to the professional loudspeaker.
Outputs
These are the types of output connections that connect to the professional loudspeaker.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND PRACTICE

April 6, 2011

This equipment has been useful because of its ease of use, simplicity, good power, strength, low weight and cost. Whether as a monitor or as an amplifier for small spaces. I've used for keyboard and voice in temples with very good results.
