I first purchased the SCC1, but was very disappointed in the sound quality, I also own the VAIS SLi and really like the quality it deliveries.
So I ditched the Directed connection unit for the VAIS, the sound quality is near CD if not better.
I highly recommend any VAIS product over any others for Lexus or Toyata vehicles.
