Bought my first house last November and wanted to put a nice surround sound setup in, without the mess of exposed wires and speakers to collect dust and without busting my budget! I came across the MTX Blueprint CT625W speakers and did a little research on them and they seemed like a good deal through Sonic and didn't find any complaints, so I took a chance on them and bought three sets (I have one extra since they are sold in pairs) for my 5.1 speaker setup. I paired them with a Harmon/Kardon AVR 1650 receiver and the result was amazing! I'm not an audiophile but these speakers impressed me from the get go and 6mon's later, they still do. Bluray, DVD, TV... It all sounds great and I don't hear any distortion or crackling when the volume is cranked. For the bass and being budget minded, I also took a chance on the BIC America V-80 100watt powered subwoofer and it rocks my 18' x 13' living room! So all in all, I would recommend the MTX speakers to anyone. They come with everything you need to mount them and the template for cutting the holes in your walls. All you need are the tools, speaker wire and patience for getting it all done. Or you can just hire someone to install them. :)

Have these running as my Front Left and Right speakers in my Home Theater off 90WRMS. These seem more geared toward music than a true Theater speaker.
Very happy overall, build is good, mid bass is ok, tweeters aren't too harsh. Grills don't seem to sit perfectly but they still look good.
