I got this amp for my boyfriend for his birthday and it shorted itself out its second time turning on. I know electronics have that possibility of being defect from the factory... however, I will be exchanging this.

The listing says this is a 100w X4 Class DE Digital amp with Subsonic Filter and a HPF that starts at 40Hz. The unit I received had the correct model number, but was actually a Class A/B 60w X4 with NO subsonic filter and a HPF that starts at 120hz.
Not sure what is going on, but 4 days ago I sent the amp back and Sonic said they would look into re-listing the specs, but so far nothing has changed. Stay away if you need digital or 100wpc.

I got this amp to power Hertz MLK 165 & CDT M6 braxials. First amp had a bad channel and returned to RE. They sent me a new amp and now have it in my car. Only it running @ about 40% and if you turn up it will make your ears bleed. It definitely made my comps come alive and they just scream and not from lack of power. I can absolutely recommend! I have owned Kenwood Excelon, RF, JL & PPI. This amp gives all of these a good run!
