These components sound great, but they make sure you got power for them. They need at least 75 Watts RMS, heres is a short video of them this with only 50 watts rms. later I will update the video with a new amp powering them. 4 stars on ease of use for crossover covers

Great Speaker, Harsh Tweeter.

I bought these for my subaru forester and I love them. I have the tweeter mounted off axis, and them attenuated at the -6db setting and my eq cut -2db at 12khz because the tweeters are very, very sharp. They don't sound bad, but honestly I think because the woofers are power hungry (I am giving each side 150 watts RMS via a pioneer premier amp) the tweeters end up getting a lot of power. Just beware of the fact that the tweeters are very loud, maybe not a good choice for a small car or firing towards glass. Also, the crossover electronics are great, but the covers SUCK. I ended up duct taping mine shut. That's why 3 stars on ease of use.

Great for the price!

I installed these guys with a pair of matching Vibe 6x9s. Never used Vibe before (am a big fan of JBL), but the price was right, and I decided to take the plunge and try something new. Great set for the price. As someone else mentioned, the tweeter seems to be a little more vocal than the woofer (highs are a little harsh), but overall a great little set, and way better than the stock speakers they replaced in my car.

Amazing Product!

Wow! They sound better than expected. Need some time to break in just like all other speakers but they are just crystal clear and perfect. The build quality is exceptional! I bought a component set of Pioneer speakers and they were cheap plastic crap compared to these. Very rigid and amazing sound!

Vibe strikes agian!

I have to say for a company i haven't heard about in ages they still make a some quality products you do have to pay a lil more for the better Built stuff but man is it worth it.

I installed these i have 4channel amp at 100w per channel to each set of these and they just blow my mind how clear they are they are hitting just the right spot for my budget system.

Exceeded my expections

Just replaced MTX 6001s in an 07 Silverado, difference is night and day. Quality kit. Tweeters can be attached to midbass or separate
Mine were RB and the tweeters are 20mm not 38 as noted, who cares, they sound awsome, like a good silk dome should. Midbass is tight and vocals are open and natural sounding. Hooked up to an AVH-3300, and a Kole audio 4ch amp 85 RMS /ch, all bought here and delivered to Canada quickly and reasonably priced. Yeah Sonic !!

great quality

Purchase Vibe. These componets are great the construction is aweasome and the crossovers are top quality, you will not find a better product in this price range. I'm running 2 sets in a crew cab silverado with a memphis belle powering them no complaints except they do stress a little with lots of drum mids, ie Tool. but they are very efficient and can handle as little as 50 watts. If you purchase vibe you wont be sorry. Even my dad has all Vibe in his classic Camaro and he loves them.

This is a great product and it just goes to show that car audio dealers can beat the internet sometimes I got 2 sets of these installed for less than the price tag on here.
