User Interface Revolution:
New user interface features intuitive touch slide controls for selecting audio/video sources, searching through media files and scrolling quickly through your iPod playlists, much like an iPhone or iTouch interface. Music Sphere Technology:
Pioneers proprietary technology allows users to create unique mood-based playlists via iTunes, iPod Touch or an iPhone. Music Sphere iTunes plug-in software analyzes your entire music library and creates playlists based on the musical attributes of each individual song, such as rhythm, beats, and even when the song was added. To really get the party started, using Music Sphere, a non-stop mix of tracks can be played in DJ Mode with included transition effects. The 3D animated Music Sphere provides quick and easy selection of the generated playlists with a simple touch slide interface.
ECO Driving and AVIC FEEDS:
Second generation ECO driving provides driving reports with visual images on-screen that represent your driving habits and your vehicles impact on the environment. Using the AVIC FEEDS Pc software, this unit can estimate fuel costs for certain routes as well as your individual vehicles CO2 emissions. These reports are logged and archived to analyze driving habits and create reports with suggestions on how to improve fuel efficiency and driving habits. The ECO graph provides a 2D or 3D visual representation of your impact on the environment to help you improve your overall ECO score.
Voice Command interface:
We were promised freedom of speech and the AVIC-Z120BT has delivered. Navigation functions, iPod audio control and hands-free Bluetooth calling can all be controlled with the sounds of your voice. Voice-activated control allows you to keep your eyes on the road and the music pumping. The voice control is "conversational" meaning it picks up commands via casual conversation phrases instead of pre-defined phrases.
