Pretty good piece

March 29, 2014

I simply just wanted this because it was a single rack mount CD player. The USB feature is nice and works great! Takes a little while to "read" a CD for playback, but other than that it cues up fast and plays great and I like the fact it has XLR outs. Nice touch for pro sound. Whilst I bought this to play music between sets for my band, I believe it would make a great back-up unit for a DJ. It has everything a DJ would need. I have read some bad reviews on this item in the past and honestly I think it's a nice piece and for those with bad reviews, I think, don't know how to properly operate this item. It just takes a little getting use to. I bought this item from Sonic simply because they had the best price. Shipping was fast and free! Overall great experience with Sonic.

Metal casing, reliable governing bodies, big functionality, ideal ratio of cost and quality. I bought such instruments six pieces while spoilage isn't present that for Gemini... the miracle is simple. Yours faithfully, Vyacheslav.

As professional entertainer I use two Gemini CDMPs for playing my background music from USB flash cards (while one is playing, the other is beiing set for the following song). The CD sections in my case are used only for playing music during breaks. I am using these machines for 5 months and had no any issues. My music is stored alphabeticaly in folders with letters (separate folder for A, separate folder for B, etc.). Finding a song is a piece of cake after 5 months. I like the single rack space size.
