Kicker Fail Safe Technology (FIT):

Kicker has manufactured a new Fail-Safe Integration (FIT) technology into all of their amplifiers. The FIT technology uses isolated differential inputs in order to reject noise or electrical interferences, caused by engines, alternators or any other audio or video component throughout your vehicle. The differential inputs will use a muting circuit that will block out any additional noise that may stream down the line. Couldn't Ask For a Better Amp, Very Impressed!

This has been the first car amplifier that I have bought. It does take a lot of abuse. I have it running down at 1 OHM (6 x 4ohm speakers in parallel) and it takes the abuse very nicely. The sound is crystal clear, the functions are also great and easily accessible.

My amp came with a 515W birth certificate. I would buy another Kicker product in a hearth beat. I've had this amp for 3 years now and it's still going strong. I honestly can't thing of any bad things to say about this amp, it just rocks!

Quality Amp

The following review is for a previous version (ZX450.2).

This is a quality amp. This amp puts out a decent amount of power. I bridged it to my dual subs and it hit pretty hard. It definately puts out more than 450 rms. however it is an expensive amp for its power and i would recommend finding a cheaper one that puts out the same power, but it is a very nice amp that has never cut out on me and i have never had any problems with. I love the remote gain control and the knobs on the amp are easy to turn and accessible

got this amp wasn't expecting much only 450 watts rms wired it in with the kicker 4 gage 2 channel amp kit an hooked it to 2 12 kicker compvr's 2ohm loaded in sonicelectronix slot ported box http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7509_Sonic+Sub+Box-+2SV12.html

all i can say is boom it hits very hard rattles my blazer extreamly hard looks great very clean loud smooth bass very good buy little expensive but well worth it

Great value and excellent sound

The following review is for a previous version (08ZX450.2).

Pros:
My Kicker amplifier is connected to two ten inch Clif Design sub woofers and the sound quality is great. The amplifier seems to have very consistent power and it does not appear to heat up. I do recommend it for the right applications.
The staff that assisted me were very knowledgeable, courteous, and walked me through every step of the purchasing process. I'm very satisfied with Sonic. ...... hlm

Cons:
I do not have any cons at this time.

I have it in my 89 chevy 4x4. Its clean and nice to work with i am happy with the amp and am going to tell my friends or anyone that its a great amp. It ran my two kicker comp 12's just fine.

I would recomend this amp to anyone who wants to be heard down the block.I have this amp pushing two 12inch crossfire subs in a ported super bass PRO BOX.I can only take the Bass in ten minute increments.its way louder than I need but i put everyone else to shame.We take our car stereos serious down here and believe me this amp has never let me down.I have put many speakers in the grave with it!
