MTX Audio has rolled out a new series of amplifiers for 2011. The new Road Thunder series will be available in 5 different models ranging from class D mono-block to 4-channel full range amplifiers. The Road Thunder RT250D is perfect for those looking for just the right amount of power. Rated at 150 watts RMS at 4 ohms and 250 watts RMS at 2 ohms, this amplifier will allow for a multiple combination of subwoofer wiring. Anywhere from two Dual Voice Coil 2 ohm subs to a Single Voice Coil 4 ohm sub. The class D Mono Block amplifier will encompass MTX's patented, Adaptive Clas D topology and Smart Engage circuitry, technologies. Smart Engage circuitry will make installation into an aftermarket or stock audio system a breeze without the need of any additional adapters or converters. The Adaptive Class D topology will create a cleaner, crisper sound while eliminating interference generally found in Class D amplifiers. With these technologies the RT250D will give out high performance and quality at an affordable price. With an included external bass control, the RT250D is perfect for any system that really wants to roar like thunder.
