I bought this amp, so that I could power all my speakers and sub, with one amplifier. I have a toyota tundra standard cab. Even though I do have a decent amount of room behind the seats, I wanted the install to be clean and as compact as possible. Having ONE amp, was what I was aiming for.
This amp is not huge by any means, but it does the job nicely. Like all RF amps, this one comes with a certificate on certified power. Listed as 600 watts rms by 5 channel at 2 ohms on the box, mine is rated at 721 watts rms by 5 channel at 2 ohms of actual power on the certificate.... Which means the sub is getting about 360 watts rms since it is 2 ohms. Half of the power goes to the subwoofer and the other have is spread out among the rear and front lefts and rights. So each output for the speakers is getting about 90 watts rms at 2 ohms. I have infinity speakers, and infinity makes their speakers all 2 ohm independent. So they are getting what they need.
Very good signal to noise ratio and very clear sound. VERY LOUD!!! I have the inside speakers' gains only about 1/3 the way up, as it hurts my ears to have them any higher. I barely have to turn up the HU. The sub is being powered very well and hits hard. I was deciding on this amp or one of the kicker 5 channel amps, but I went with this because of the price, and I knew it would be rated much higher than 600 watts rms, and I was correct... Good Purchase. I highly recommend.

This amp is a very nice, clean unit for a 5 channel. Very nice, a little on the warm side but what 5 channel isn't.

This is a very nice amp for the money. My amp arrived with a birth sheet of 700 Watts RMS total power. The amp provides lots of clean power and it is very easy to tune or make adjustments. They even include a separate bass control wired remote (Kicker charges you $25 extra for theirs). Overall a solid amp, from a top manufacturer, that features quality construction and ample power.

Looking for power for all of your speakers and don't want to spend tons or have several amps, this amp is the ticket. About 1/3 power is all I can stand in my vehicle. I liked having one amp to drive 4 sets of speakers and one sub. I will probably look at another R600-5 for one of my other cars. One critical thing to mention, you must use 6 RCA connectors, 3 pairs, if you want 5 speaker setup. I used 4 with a y-spliter for sub inputs. There is no switch to combine inputs for using a single RCA. I would include the cost of RCAs in your budget.
