Perfect Factory Replacement
It is absolutely possible to get a great sound out of a low powered system with the Boston Acoustics SE (Special Edition) Series speakers. These will bring out the layers and tones of your music as the artist intended. The SE65RC's offer a naturally warm sound with the ability to get really loud while still maintaining clarity. With the dockable crossover, you will hear a smooth blend of music between the woofer and the tweeter. Since they are only 35 watts RMS, they run smoothly off your factory or aftermarket stereo without the need for an amplifier. These speakers are also built for being mountable in shallow spaces while still maintaining that great Boston Acoustics sound. These are the ultimate replacements for your stock door speakers!

Used a pair of these in a small sedan, frontdoor. Sounds pretty natural. Bass is slightly muffled, high frequency is VERY good, as the speaker is placed more at toe level, not at ear level. Overall good speakers for normal day to day commuting.
