The SPLW-122X SPLW Series 15" Subwoofer has a peak power rating of 2800 watts and a RMS rating of 700 watts. Great sub, just bought it a couple of weeks ago got a custom 4 cuft box ported and tunned to the mfg's specs. I have it powered by a power acoustik D1-3000D @ 4 ohms for the break in period. Later I will rewire for 1 ohm and really see what this thing can do. You get quite a bang for your buck!!! I will be buying one more and another amp so i can get where i want my system to be.

Pretty awesome sub. I have it now at only 500 rms breaking it in but the low notes are just awesome.
