It's not possible to go wrong with this unit. It encompasses more tuneability and features than some other brands that retail even higher. It has given me more ability to change things around.
The ipersonalize feature is awesome as all your settings (including timed speaker response) are on a disk and can be put back into your deck with four buttons. Takes thirty seconds to get it back to the way you had it after a dead battery instead of thirty minutes.

It has one negative, the glidetouch while unique and fun is a fiasco to use when driving but then again most people are not flipping menu's when on the road. Other than that, a strong performer that can be used for a weekend warrior car to a daily driver to even a good source unit for a competition stereo. Packed with extras and features, you will love it.

My brother has one of these and it's a lot of fun to play with. It's an good head unit. It sounds good. Has lots of capabalities.

Total system control!

Ok, main reason I bought this head unit, is because it came with such a sweet crossover! Low/High pass filters with variable crossover slopes of, 6dB, 12dB, 18dB, and 24dB! 24dB, what a slope... nearly straight up and down, from a head unit? It's amazing.

The GlideTouch takes a while to get use to. I have gotten lucky and haven't experienced some of the issues some people were claiming to be experiencing. So that's a bonus for me. I am getting so use to the GlideTouch that I can use it while driving and barely take my eyes off the road. I give this one straight up 5 stars!

Best CD player ever!!!

I have this in my 01 Focus and this thing rocks it has so many possibilities its amazing and i still havent found out all the cool things u can do to it i love the way the face goes in when u power down or put in a cd its awesome i would recommend this to any true alpine lover its awesome jus a lil bit expenseive but worth every penny
