Mixer Features

The type of circuitry the mixer is comprised of as either Analog or Digital.
Frequency Response
The range of frequencies the speaker will reproduce (lowest frequency to the highest). Bigger is better, meaning the wider the range, the better. The optimal range is 20 - 20,000 Hz (which is the range of human hearing).
20 - 22,000 Hz
THD (Total Harmonic Distortion)
The amount of change in harmonic content of the signal as it is amplified. A lower figure indicates less change and a more accurate amp. THD below 0.10% is inaudible.
The ability to mount the mixer to a 19" rack.
Phantom Power
The +48V of DC power supplied to condenser microphones by all, none, or individual mic preamps on the mixer.
The width of the item from left to right (side-to-side) measured in inches.
The height of the item, measured from top to bottom, in inches.
The front-to-rear depth of the item, in inches. If the item is angled or slanted, this value is the bottom measurement.

Main Outs
The main two channel audio output of the mixer
Balanced 1/4" TRS
CRTL Room/ALT Outs
The control room or alternative outputs from the mixer.
Balanced 1/4" TRS
Direct Outs
The number of direct outputs from individual channels on the mixer.
Headphone Outs
The number of headphone outputs the mixer supports.
Aux Sends
The number of auxiliary sends available on the mixer.
The number of channel inserts found on the mixer. Channel inserts are TRS jacks found inline on the mixer channel strip used to insert signal processing into a mixer channel by transmitting a send and return on the tip and ring of a TRS - x2 TS insert cable.
Bus/Subgroup Outs
The number of bus or subgroup outputs the mixer supports.
Mic-Pre Inputs
The Number of mic level inputs the mixer can accept.
Line Inputs
The Number of line level inputs the mixer can accept.

Powered Features

Total Max Power
This is the combined max power output of all the amplifier's channels.
Continuous Power @ 8 ohm (Bridged)
This is the continuous (RMS) power output of the amplifier at a bridged 8 ohm impedance.
Continuous Power @ 4 ohm
This is the continuous (RMS) power output of the amplifier at an 4 ohm impedance.
Continuous Power @ 8 ohm
This is the continuous (RMS) power output of the amplifier at an 8 ohm impedance.
