Out with the old and in with the new. This is the motto for MTX Audio's new Road Thunder RTLS series subwoofers, like the RTL12-04. The new Road Thunder RTL series subwoofers all have a power handling rating of 400 watts peak and 200 watts RMS, making them the perfect entry-level subwoofer. These new woofers feature a polypropylene cone for durability and longer extension from high excursion, while the stitched rubber surround reinforces the woofer cone, so you can play louder and longer. In order to keep the subwoofer at safe temperature levels, the RTL subwoofer incorporate a Spider Plateau Venting that cools the voice coil directly for increased performance and power handling. The use of an Asymmetrical Linear Driver System (ALDS) allows the RTL subwoofers to have high output with minimal distortion by creating a constant linear movement that creates optimum sound waves and thus increases performance for the highest music reproduction possible. MTX Audio's new RTL series subwoofers will provide the right amount of bass at the right price with features not found in other subwoofers in the same class.

great sound
fast shipping got 2 of these n 4 dayz, hooked em up easily with the single 4ohm. sound great only had the bass gain 1/4 up. and u can tell these subs can bang. had the RF r2d2-12 previously and they blew n 2 dayz with the gain halfway. i will take my time breaking these in. (my first system i had the mtx 10's and they beat pretty good for about 3 years.) so i figured why not get the 12's.
