Secure Your View!
The SecurView™ SV-5340 is a bar type camera with a "hide-away" bracket designed to be mounted on the vehicle license plate using the existing license plate holes. It has an ultra-wide 170° viewing angle to give the driver the absolute best view behind the vehicle.
The SV-5340 is not only easy to install, but it also maintains a very low-profile on the vehicle. The entire mounting bracket is made to be hidden behind the license plate so that only the camera lens is visible. Once the camera is installed you can't even tell that it is a plate mount camera. This makes it a very good choice for users who want a clean looking install but do not want any holes drilled on the vehicle.

I have this hookup up to my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 along with a Kenwood KIV-BT901. This combination works out great. I can see how close i'm getting to somthing without the hassel of either hitting it or getting in and out of the truck. I can back right to my trialer hitch on my owh without any assistance. The picture is very clear and even works great at night and in the rain. The value for what it is, has me thinking how did Sonic do this at this price. Thank you Sonic Electronix.

I had bought other backup cameras before this one and none of them work as good as this one. It's easy to install and works flawlessly! I would recommend this to anyone needing one.

I've owned this camera for about 6 months now and it is pretty good for the most part. I have it connected to a pioneer avic 930bt. Very easy to connect, has great daytime and pretty good low light picture. I have it mounted to a 2007 Nissan pathfinder, the only issue is whenever I take the truck for a wash when they are drying the truck the workers tend to bend the camera out of place if you don't tell them to watch out for it. And it partially covers the liftgate release handle- its fine for me but when others open it they can bend it out of place. So for an suv I would go with another style but for a car this would be great. So I would recommend the brand but watch what style you choose for your application.
