Lots of versatility in this head unit. Installation was a bit tricky, and I had to actually cut my bezel slightly with a dremmel to make it fit in my single din space. (2008 Dodge Ram)
The Mp3 files look kind of neat while playing. It displays the album art, and a spectrum analyzer. I was able to hook up a USB powered hard drive to store all my videos and music. That was one of the reasons I chose this unit.
Bluetooth phone works flawlessly. GPS is decent. Just be sure to mount the antenna in a good location. Mine is slightly above the head unit, under the dash plastic. I usually get about 5 satellites.
On the downside, there is no update for the map as of yet.
Also when playing cd's (who uses cd's anymore?) it does not show the track names, just "Track 1", "Track 2", etc.
The sound is decent. A lot better then my stock radio, but remember this is not a high end unit. I plan on hooking up a subwoofer in the future.
One note, when creating videos make sure you use the right codecs. It took me some experimentation to get AVI files to play properly. I used AVI-MPEG4 2500 bitrate at 30 FPS and (important) audio codec MP3.

The product appears nice to look at. It protrudes a bit more from the dash board but not a big deal to me.
At first I ordered the PNX-761 but the faceplate of this one is not detachable as being advertised in all websites (Sonic corrected it already) so I replaced it with 721 which is almost the same, but a single DIN with detachable 7inch faceplate.
Since my SUV has a double DIN, I have to convert it to a single DIN for this to fit. What is nice though, now I have a pocket behind the face plate where I can store my I-Pod when connected to the unit.
The sound is at par with my JVC and Eclipse with seven band graphic equalizer. A nice touch. However on both 761 and 721, I can hear a hissing sound in between music more noticeable when the car is not running.
The I-pod interface and control can be improved. It shows an I Pod control buttons on my left, and the song information on the right. The song information is very small and the album art is also very small. The unit plays both music and video stored in the I-Pod.
I don't have problem with the blue tooth. It paired with my HTC EVO right away. It plays stored music and internet stations well.
Now, the NAV. I do not know if the map is current. I could not find any update from GoGo website. I e-mail power acoustik and reply is, no update at this time. It seems to me that the map may need some update. I noticed that the actual sign post is on the right but the one on the navi is on the left. It also tells me to exit left on a none existing road (an exit with a different number is on the right). After this glitch I was able to reach my destination.
In addition, The instructions manual is nice, in color but confusing at times. Probably nobody re-read and do some corrections before printing. There are also no instructions on how to detach and attach the faceplate, and it does not tell you what are those buttons on the front panel does. The instruction manual on my other head units indicate what are those buttons for.
This unit has many features, this review is only for the ones I was able to use at this time.
I hope this will help a little someone who is interested in getting this unit.

found this helpful.I was surprise what I get for the price.
I had just installed this head unit on my work truck, a 2001 Toyota Tundra. I have to say, it is a very good head unit, especially for the price, it is compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S4 via bluetooth and I can change song on the touch screen without having to change it on the phone. The vehicle maintenance log is very helpful, a very good place to write down my mileage after my oil change.
Another feature I found very helpful is the detachable screen. When I have to park in a not so safe area, I get to take the detachable screen with me, and not have to worry about someone breaking my window cause they see the screen.
Note: If you have a factory amp, you will have to bypass it, for the sound to work properly.

This stereo is not great.. The GPS is out dated and no way to update it. The owners/operations manual is very simple and dont tell how to use the features.. Sound quality is bad.

Great unit. graphics are awesome and you really get a lot for your money.. Bulky wiring due to all the accessories so make sure you have depth in your dash area.

Well I must say that I am impressed, (thats not easy to do with me), however this unit is all that! I installed it in my 78 chevy C10 as an upgrade to my kenwood single din 14 speakers including 1 sub and man all of them came to life with this unit! only down fall, it didn't come with a remote,(good luck tracking one down) I found it..... barely. Thanks Soniceletronix.

I bought this receiver specially because it has a 7 inch LCD screen and Navigation. I put it in my 93 F150 I've been restoring for the last 7 months. When I installed it, I noticed the navigation icon wasn't lit up and also a few more wasn't either. The radio and CD player works fine. After hours of trying to figure out why I'm not getting navigation, I called Power Acoustiks. They said the receiver came with a SD card with the navigation on it and I would have to load it myself. Well, it didn't come with a SD card. It don't even mention it on the parts list. I asked if they can send me one and they said they are programed for that particular stereo and I would have to send it back. Well now, Sonic is out of stock on this stereo.
