very nice Sony!!!
The sound is great! The list of supported formats is even better! Takes a DVD full of MP3s. Can you imagine how many that is!!?? Plus, it plays DVD video and others. A rare find for those with stock rear entertainment system in need of a better HU without paying extra for a monitor. I'm running it in my '09 Honda Odyssey in parallel with the stock HU, the video taps into AUX video on the stock HU.
I ran the audio bypassing stock everything from Sony to JBL MS-8 to JBL GT804EZ to aftermarket speakers and a sub. This Sony finally gave me an opportunity to stop listening to the filthy, noisy piece of garbage Honda calls a car stereo, which no amount of processing and cleaning can fix. Axxess steering wheel control module refused to recognize it as a Sony. I had to manually program, but it's Metra's fault; not Sony's.
