Alpine doesn't disappoint

I have 2 Pioneer Premier W3002D2, so I was looking for an amp that put out about 2K RMS @ 2ohms. Since this amp is discontinued I was having a tough time finding one seeing that it does 2400 @ 2ohms @ 14.4v. I'm glad I did though, this thing SLAMS my 2 Premiers. I have big 3 done, Kinetik HC2400, Kinetik HC1800, all 1/0 welding cable and stock 160 amp alt and I still get slight dimming. The amp accepts 1/0 gauge wire in the power terminals, the description on Sonic is wrong saying the max is 4 AWG. Gain is about 1/4 way and the amp still gets plenty loud. For those of you looking for POWER for a 2ohm load do yourself and find one of these, well worth every penny. Be sure to have enough power to feed it though.

sick and loud

i really love this amp. i used it to power my 4 alpine type R 12s. the box was built by myself 8 cubes at 34hz hair tricks on normal music in my 2dr tahoe. the amp looks awesome you can make the whole set up look clean without having to add an amp rack. sonic was amazing to deal with i never have a problem when ordering from them. the amp is certified so you know you get the rms rating your shooting for. i will use two of these to power my new set up of 4 boston spgs i made it loud but want louder.

Everything you could want and more!!!!

The following review is for a previous version (MRP-M2000).

So i purchased this amp with 2 brand new alpine 1242d 12's and put them in a ported box and i do nothing but turn heads. this amp will pull some serious power on a 1 farad capacitor but make sure you turn you low pass filter up to 30 hz to get the crisp slap of a sealed box. this amp is never hot barely warm. I cannot help but stuff another 2 12's in the extended cab of my truck and soak everything up that this amp has to offer @ 2 ohms. love the alpine products going together and have nothing but positive things to say. sonic electronix is excellent with delivery time as well. Thanks for coming thru.

rediculous power! small price to pay!

The following review is for a previous version (MRP-M2000).

this amp is a beast. this is alpine's most powerfull amp yet. this is the real deal. i was at a car toys event and they had all the manufacture companies such as alpine, rockford fosgate ect. im an alpine fan so of course i wanted to see what they had. they had this amp hooked up to 16 twelve inch type s subs and it was pushin them all no problem. i touched the amp to see how hot it was and you wouldn't even know it was on if it weren't for the blue led light on it. this amp puts out tons of power without draining the s**t out of ur battery. plus it is way underrated. it probably puts out about 2,500 watts rms, or somewhere around there. for anybody who is lookin to destroy any competition and save battery power and money i would strongly recommend this amp. im gonna get one myself.

Ear Blaster!!

The following review is for a previous version (MRP-M2000).

don't ask me how or why but i fit this amp and 2 12" alpine type r's in my 2003 jeep rubicon. these things absolutely slam. they are in a custom sealed box built to spec and they absolutely slam!!!
they are wired at 2 Ohms so they are getting a little over 1000 a piece this amp is seriously underrated. i have gotten 3 tickets and owned it for a little over 2 months. my buddy at the audio shop were i live, tested my jeep and it hits 152.4 db's from a jeep!!!

recommend buying an amp for your highs as well. this amp will overpower your head unit. cant go wrong with the alpine pdx.4.100!!

awesome

The following review is for a previous version (MRP-M2000).

I've got this thing pushing 2 Alpine 12's right now and it does an awesome job. I love the settings you can adjust and I haven't had any problems out of it at all. The price was amazing too as I saw on Alpine that is was an $800 MSRP and I got it for about half that.

Very sweet amp

The following review is for a previous version (MRP-M2000).

I own two of these and have them hooked up to 2 18s each totaling 4 18s and birth sheet says each amps are pushing 2532, 2546 rms. I am hittting 156db at the windshield and still have a back seat lol. These amps are clean and powerful but you need to have atleast a 300amp alt and a few battery's. Im thinkin about getting a few more just to have them.
