Add An Amplifier To Your Stereo System!

The NVX XPLOC4 Premium line-out converter is the perfect solution for adding an aftermarket amplifier to your stock or aftermarket stereo system. The XPLOC4 handles a large amount input power (600 watts total, 150 per channel) and uses the signal from your stock stereo or amplifier by tapping into the stock speaker wire and converting it to a 4-channel RCA signal output. The end result is a high quality line out converter with super low distortion, and as with all NVX products the engineering and build quality is second-to-none.

Product Features:

  • 4-channel High-powered, 600w Total Maximum Input (150w per channel)
  • Premium adjustable line output converter with digital noise filter and line driver
  • 6:1 Step Down With Adjustable Output
  • DC Amplifier Turn On Trigger
  • Super Low Distortion
  • Authorized Internet Dealer
  • 1-year Manufacturer's Warranty

Line-Out Converter Specifications

Number of Channels
Each channel on an amplifier will power one speaker using a positive and negative cable. There are various types of amplifiers, each designed to power a certain number of speakers. Monoblock amplifiers, also known as single channel, are designed to power one or more subwoofers. These amplifiers often have very high power ratings. On the other hand, multi-channel amplifiers power multiple speakers, usually at lower power ratings. 2-Channel and 4-Channel amplifiers can power car speakers or low powered subwoofers. Occasionally you might see a 5 or 6-channel amplifier that can power speakers and subwoofers at the same time. The most common setup is a monoblock amp to run subwoofers and a 4-channel amp to run door speakers. Check out our Knowledge Base for more information.

This Loc is user friendly, low cost, and easy to install.. Perfect for OEM Amplified factory systems like my factory Rockford fostgate system.. Zero noise with "NO" distortion on my SMD DD1, even at wide open gains.. Similar products didn't fair so well..

Good with QC issues

April 22, 2013

Decent unit. Good Build. Good instructions. Used with a DD-1 doesnt distort right away like cheaper LOCs. So Good there.

One of the RCA jacks was messed up. Wouldnt accept a male RCA..
I had to go to Radio Shack and buy a $6 cord and soldier on a usable Female RCA plug..

Didnt want to wait for an RMA request..

Great product.

I bought this because I wanted to upgrade speakers and amp in my 2012 Hyundai Sonata but didn't want to lose the features of the OEM head unit. It is a great product with detailed diagram. The 4 outputs allow you to run two pairs of RCA's to a 4 channel amp for fader function. I turned the gains all the way up and let my amp control the input levels. Running Alpine SPC610 component fronts, Alpine SPE600 full range rears on Kicker IX500.4. I'm also running a 10" Alpine Type R Sub on a JBL old school Mono amp.

Clean...Crisp...Sound

I added this LOC, to my existing system and it was amazing how clean and clear my system is now. I utilized the speaker ground wire and that eliminated all engine noise. I would recommend this to anyone.

a must have

August 20, 2016

if you are upgrading a factory stereo and don't want to replace the head unit, then these are a must.

I had 2 CRUNCH 1000.4 amps installed in two separate vehicles, keeping the stock head units, using the high level inputs, both had engine noise, got these and installed them and no engine noise. clean crisp sound.

both vehicles are running factory decks, crunch amps and Rockford fosgate speakers. next will be subs.

very easy to install very easy to use.

Awesome

January 20, 2016

The NVX line level converter is simply awesome. I used it on a factory head unit with a West Coast Customs amp and couldn't be happier. The remote turn on lead out of the converter made it a easy install of the amp. The noise gate left me with no hiss or pops. If you're looking for the best look no further then NVX.

Very easy and intuitive to use, easy install and works great with my factory radio. Like the adjustable gains, good size in my application for fitting behind the dash.

it was recommended in sonic electronix you tube video. I want to retain my factory head unit but it doesn't have rca's (low level inputs) to connect to my new amplifier.
James M on Mar 4, 2015
Great reviews, NVX seems to build hi quality products
Charles O on Dec 19, 2015
Looks like a beefy LOC. Same brand as the amp I purchased.

Can I use this on my 2016 RAM 1500??, I want to install 4 channel amp. for my new aftermarket speakers and mono amp. for my subwoofers.

I went to a local Fry's electronics store to get a quote for the system installation, but they told me that is impossible to connect amplifiers on the RAM trucks, I don't know way they say that, I just want to make sure if this line output converter will work on my RAM

Will this support a 5 channel amp? I'm looking to bridge 4 channels for the 2 front speaker and add a sub for the fifth channel.
rob h on Jun 5, 2016
Best Answer: Yes! This is a 4 channel Hi-Llo converter. By using a "Y" adapter you can split either the front, or rear signals before the amp and effectively end up with 3 stereo outs = 6 output signals etc..

I viewed the sonic video on this converter in which it is installed on a 2014 Honda Accord. I have 2015 Honda Accord with premium audio, which has balanced outputs. Is a product like this necessary to connect DSP to Amp and run active? How would you hook up the sub using the NVX?
Larry R on Sep 9, 2015
Best Answer: Hi Larry, i installed on my 2011 elantra i had to use hi pass filter on my amp for the door speakers because it didnt filter out the low frequencies and my speakers couldnt handle it. As for the sub run your amp on low pass you could put a equalizer before your amps from the line out. But mines clear just tuned from headunit then the amp

i have a bluetooth audio unit and to make this question simple the unit has connections for two speakers: I have two 4ohm 4" speakers connected to four wires, i.e. positive & negative per speaker and there are no rca connectors or connections for additional speakers on this audio unit. I also have a 400 watt amplifier with 4 channel rca inputs and speaker connections for four speakers. Can I use this LOC by splicing the LOC into the four speaker wires coming out of the bluetooth audio unit so that I end up with music out of the four speakers not yet purchased plus the existing two 4" speakers? If you haven't guessed this is for a motorcycle which has a factory bluetooth unit with built-in amp. Not adequate for highway speeds where wind drowns out the sound even if the sound is cranked up to highest level.
Anthony G on Apr 28, 2016
Best Answer: Personally I see nothing wrong with that solution. However, I'm going to assume that the converter will act like any other speaker (4ohm) in that it may drop your ohms down to 2ohms to the unit you are driving from. Just be aware of that potentially happening.

Also, I found that the converter picted up a tiny bit of alternator noise. For me it was a bit much. I had to use a noise killer in line with the inverter. Hope this helps.

This product says 600 watt maximum input, does that mean I can not use it with the Polk Audio 800.4?
A shopper on Jan 26, 2016
Best Answer: Hello,

The amplifier has absolutely nothing to do with that figure. "Input" literally means the signal being sent (i.e. Input) to the LOC from the headunit or OEM amplifier. Your amplifier doesn't and can't send power to the LOC...if it did, that would be very very bad =] .

To make things more clear, if your vehicle is equipped with a factory amplified system or you don't know, then go with this product. If you know it doesn't, then the NVX XFLOC4 will suffice.
