"Hand's down" the most bang for your buck!
I Purchased a set of these for my Silverado few months back.
I've been waiting to see how far I could push these puppies before I wrote a review. First off, I have been running component sets for years because thats about the only way to keep your music loud, clear, and with little distortion. Here recently I upgraded my L7 12's to solar x's. This ment I had to drive my components harder to keep up.I try to stay at about 200 -225 watts clean (rms) for my mids an highs allowing about 2k on my subs.I keep my system crossed over thru my deck, amp and crossovers supplied with my components. This past year I've been thru endless sets of components. Not that they were cheap, but just cause I push them to hard. I blew my focals one week a month later I blew a set of high energy Hertz. Fed up, Hurt, and broke $900 later I said, "self,I just can't afford to upgrade to another set of $6-$800 component sets". I ordered a new set of 2 way type R 6 1/2's. I promised myself I would not over drive them.
Because they mount low in the doors, I still needed more highs. Well I ordered these, just knew I was asking for disaster and they would be toast wired in 2 ohms trying to match the two new sets. Getting to the point, im still rocking these babies and im driving them hard now. There about 75-80% as loud as the costly components that cost 7 times what these did.And I may blow them tomorrow for all I know.Butt if I do.For what I paid for this set up, ill just buy another identical set,its well worth the money. Thank you Sonic for getting these out as quick as you did

Put these in the 06 Jeep Liberty 2" dash speaker location. They have a perfect balance of mid (vocals) and highs without being too bright or too flat. If you are trying to replace a mid/high speaker with a tweeter but dont want to lose any performance, these are a once a done solution due to their broad frequency response.
They do lack the mounting option of putting a screw in the center of the base. But I was creative enough so that it wouldnt matter.

Nice sounding tweeters! Really, Really helped bring more from the music I listen to. Hearing miniscule sounds that I wasn't before. Probably can do an even better job had my installer sired them directly to the amp like I asked him to. He tied into existing door speaker wires.
Sound great, though. I'm thinking about putting some in the rear suicide doors on a 2009 F150 extended cab STX.
