Long-Lasting Design

Is this 5ft section enough for my "Big 3" upgrade?

Yes. This 5ft length is ideal for connecting your alternator to the battery and the battery to the chassis. Replacing thin factory wires with this 1/0 OFC will stabilize voltage and prevent headlight dimming.

Can I use this 5ft wire for an amplifier ground?

Yes. For high-power systems, grounds should be kept under 3 feet to minimize resistance. Using this 1/0 wire ensures your 2000W+ amplifier gets the solid return path it needs to prevent clipping or overheating.

The 1/0 wire is too thick for my 4-gauge amp. Any solution for this?

Do not cut or trim the copper strands. Use an NVX 1/0 to 4-gauge reducer. This allows you to run the heavy-duty 1/0 wire for maximum current while safely fitting it into smaller amplifier power terminals.

Is the blue jacket safe for oily engine bays?

Yes. The EnvyFlex PVC jacket is engineered to be oil, gas, and heat resistant. It remains incredibly flexible even in cold weather, making it the perfect solution for routing through tight grommets or around engine parts.

What fuse should I use with this 5ft 1/0 wire?

For a 5-foot run of 1/0 OFC, you can safely use up to a 300-Amp ANL fuse. Always fuse the wire according to its capacity to protect your vehicle from a fire in the event of a dead short against the chassis.

This is real good 0 gauge wire not that cheap fake cheap wire this will work real great with the big 3 bought this product to install my big 3 and rewire my power to amp never heats up and gives good voltage ...also cheaper than kicker wire but same quality

I studied for quite a while for the best & cheapest 0 gauge cable. I picked this one because it had 4707 strands, flexibility and the colors matched my car. At the NVX site they are very much more expensive. I highly recommend the 20 ft. rolls for the best deal. They are still cheaper than other high grade brand names. On ebay they sell Cadence much cheaper but with much less strands and I don't know about their flexibility.
