This product works great with my car speakers that i ordered which was 1 size smaller but the Scocshe SAC653 came in very handy to support them and fit just right to my car original mountings. i had to drill holes in the speakers section because the speakers holes weren't quite aligned with the bracket holes but YES it was a great fit after doing that and i am very pleased that this product was out there. VERY VERY PLEASED, i recommend it to anybody else.

I bought these to mount some 6 inch speakers on a 04 dodge neon well I had to cut one of the mounting ears off because it wasnt lettin the speaker sit flat on the factory bracket good thing the mounting ear was mot needed in my case and probably wont be needed unless your gonna install something bigger than 6.5 inch speakers the adapters are very thin and one of them broke so be careful when your mounting your speakers to the adapter plates i had to drill small holes on both broken parts and stitch them together using thin wire and then use hot glue which worked great! anyone wanting to buy these might wanna get the ones that have a half inch spacer cuz since there thicker there probably stronger and on a neon theres plenty of room to use the thicker adapter plates anyway
