I had this amp lying around.... and once I sold my MA Audio HK2000D I thought I minus well try this amp out. I was pretty impressed. I have it hooked up to a 15" Fi Q in a 3 cu ft box tuned to 35 hz wired to 1 ohm. And it really slams hard. But this amp it putting a hurtin on my alternator. My volt gauge bottoms out at high volumes. All the way down to 8v. So I would recommend at least a 140a alt along with the big 3 upgrade done in 0 gauge wire.
But for the price this thing is unstoppable. Its stout! Fan cooled also.

Just bought this amp to push a couple older round solo barics. It delivers for the money. I think this amp is a little overrated on power, but what do you want for 300.00 bucks. Power draw is reasonable, only a little dimming from lights. It is a little big, so you better have the room for it. I would recomend this amp to anybody looking for a stout amp at a dirt cheap price.

I bought this 3000 watt amp to push my (2) 1100-watt SPL 12" subwoofers in a Ported box with ports on each side and power acoustik 800-amp capcell and cap-4 with Optima yellow cap battery it hit so dam hard I had to buy another 3000-D and man let me tell you each amp is running each sub in my SUV it was making my eye water and ears pop and my roof push up even after i put dymat in there she pound so hard now when I get a head ache I just turn up my music to about 3 to 4 and my head is gone and my back feel so good. I would always buy power acoustik I should have keep my MoFo 12" best subs ever made until they made the Orions they just cost to much but the best subwoofer around in a ported box.

I researched several brands for a cpl. months before deciding between the PA A3000DB and a Hifonics BXi1610, and I mean a lot of research. You can look at the circuit board to see how many caps it has, mosfets, etc.. It has all the right stuff and a ton of it that other really expensive brands do too. Look at the inside of this amp and then look at the inside of a Pyramid amp and you'll see what I'm talking about. Then you'll understand why some amps are called "overrated". It takes a 150 amp external fuse. Granted it (is) a clone amp, so the board is the same as the Kole Q1 3000D, the O2 Audio OAD3000.1, the Planet Audio TT2250d, and several other overpriced amps. Heck it's almost identical to the Lanzar OPTI 2000D also, but that amp is waaay more expensive, and the PA has more Caps! Check it out for yourself on "AmpGuts". Point is I have read feedback from these car stereo sheep that are bashing one manufacturer and praising the other, not even knowing that the board inside the amp is identical. Why? Because they paid 5 times as much for their amp. SUCKER! Don't fall for the hype. Do your research before you buy.
So how does the amp perform? Friggen awesome! It has so much power that I toasted a brand new PA FUBAR 12 ran at 2 ohms in a couple days with the gain set at about half, and the bass boost OFF, and the amp barely got warm. But since PA is such a cool company, and have great customer service their gonna let me upgrade to a brand new MOFO 12 for a few more dollars, and all I have to do is send this busted up sub back. The guy on the phone said that the FUBAR can't handle the power of this amp. He's not kidding. What does that tell you when one of their (own) techs I had on the phone is like "you can't run that sub at 2 ohms with that amp, the sub can't handle it". The FUBAR 12 handles 1800 watts btw! It takes power to make power, so already I know that I'm gonna have to get a bigger alternator, because even with my cap, it's not enough. The bass is sharp, and deep. Transitions are sudden and clear. Not muddy like my old amp.
I recommend this amp for a few reasons. One, it's built bullet proof, and has some really high-end features that are available on other amps that cost much much more. Two, if you give this amp the power it needs to perform, you will be astounded at how hard you subs will sound, but make sure you have subs that can handle like a 1000 watts RMS. Three, the customer service at PA is top notch, they've been around for years and they know what their doing. Don't be a sheep and fall for the hype. It's whats on the inside that counts!

I bought this amp and put it on two 15's and cooked them... Then I decided to try something else and once again I cooked two 12's about a month later.. Now I have two new 12's in seal boxes and one 15 in a ported box.. Wired at 1 Ohm and it SLAMS HARD.. All in a single cab F150(2000).. But wanting to add another one... I must say this has been a really good amp and at a very good price.
